Dry needlng involves inserting thin, solid filiform needles (similar to those used in accupuncture) directly into trigger points (or "muscle knots") to release tension, improve flexibility, and promote natural healing. It can be used in combination with electrical stimulation to further reduce tightness, decrease pain, or promote muscle firing.

You may experience mild soreness for 24-36 hours, and after that should have greater reductions in muscle tightness and pain. You can use ice or heat if you'd like in the meantime for releif.
